Some relief, but ... is it a win?I have taken the liquid turmeric sold on amazon, and now I've tried this. The liquid didn't seem to make much difference. So I did some research and determined that this product should give me enough actual turmeric to help, if turmeric was going to help at all. After a couple of weeks of taking this product, there was a change. My problem was stiffness in the finger joints. And after a couple of weeks, the stiffness was less pronounced. Now it's been a couple of months, and I'm at about the same place. The problem is not as acute as it was, but it's still there. The joints are still somewhat stiff/inflamed in the morning, to where I notice it, but as the day goes one, I don't notice it much. Before I started taking the turmeric, my finger joints almost had to be bent by the other hand to move easily. At least in the morning. Now that's not the case. I can move them as your normally do and while there is still some resistance in the morning, it isn't painful. Is it a win? I can't really say. Maybe my expectations were too high? Maybe I thought the problem would go away completely? That's not the case. As an experiment, I am going to stop taking this for a month and see what happens. If the joints become really stiff in the morning again, then I guess I'll go back to taking it. By the way, I'm taking three capsules once a day, at dinner time. You'll need to drink some water with them, because they are not small! I was told I could even double the dose, or take it twice a day, but that seems like a lot, and the effect from three capsules is reasonable. So I'll stick with what I've been doing. We'll see what we see!

This works on my nailsI have been using this product for probably over a year now and when I bought it I didn’t really have high expectations. I was checking out products that could be good for my joint pain from arthritis and just picked out this one to try after reading reviews. I can’t say that this has helped my joint pains but OMG have my nails grown. I have had bad fingernails for years, when I was younger I had nice nails but after having kids and house work etc… they would crack, chip and split and I am talking the last 30+ years. I don’t know what it in this this capsule that has strengthened my nails but they don’t spilt or chip anymore. One time I bought a different brand of the same supplement and within a few weeks my nails were starting to to chip and split again so I know this is the product working for me. I don’t know if this would help anyone else but it is worth a try, I plan to stay on it. I think the bottle says three capsules a day but I take one in the morning and one at night.

This product caused severe hot itchy red allergic reaction across my skin at all my jointsI've had this supplement for a couple months now and could not figure out why I have been occasionally having a severe allergic reaction across my skin. If I take this product, within an hour I will suddenly have a bright red hives skin reaction that is incredibly hot and itchy, so hot that I literally have to remove my clothes until the reaction is over like 20 minutes later. All my joints turn bright red and it is so uncomfortable and itchy I would not wish it on anyone. Literally my ankles, knees, hips, shoulders, neck, elbows, all the joints in my hands and wrist all erupt in bright red spots until it all becomes red all over my skin. I've never had a food allergy in my life or any kind of allergic skin reaction other than to poison ivy -- this is way different because it comes on VERY suddenly and spreads to my whole body within 30 seconds, and lasts maybe 25 minutes before it cools down. It took me forever to figure out that it was this supplement causing the reaction, but since I have stopped taking it I have not had any reactions.I have NEVER had any kind of reaction to turmeric or ginger in the past, or black pepper (which I eat with every meal), so my only guess its the lab-created 'bioperene' that is supposed to mimic black pepper is possibly causing the reaction. If I could return this product I would, but unfortunately I waited past the 30 day window as I did not realize all my skin allergies were caused by this. Seems like most people don't have a reaction, but I saw enough reviews with a similar reaction to know that it's not just me. I'll just stick with natural turmeric and ginger as I had been doing before.

Tumeric and ginger are a great combination…I haven’t started taking these yet but I’m just now finishing a bottle of some 1500mg tumeric pills. These ones have ginger in them so I know they’ll be even better. I used to make a lot of ginger with lemon drinks so I know of the benefits. Anyways, I just had a rotator cuff repair where they even had to remove and reattach even my bicep muscle and I’ve been taking tumeric rather than ibuprofen to reduce the inflammation. It’s helped a lot. Today marks 3 weeks since the operation and I am impressed of how much the tumeric helps, I’ve been taking it now for 2 weeks and right after starting with the tumeric, I noticed a lot less inflammation as soon as I started the tumeric. 2 days ago, I had a physical therapist, I felt like he abused me, I was asking him to please stop putting my shoulder in what I thought felt like he was going to break the repair, but I survived it, but anyhow, I think if I haven’t had 6,000 mg of tumeric per day in my system, I would be in really bad shape.

Good supplementsI like that these capsules are easy to swallow and if you get them down fast they do not have a very strong flavor. Definitely beats taking turmeric any other way. The review for asks me to rate pain relief but I don't think this can be reasonably expected of this product. It's not a pain med, and while it may hep with inflammation in the body, I would not expect to feel a decrease in any kind of pain with use of this product. I have been using it for years and will continue to buy it.
